Converting self-adhesive tapes and other materials. Die-cutting. Kiss-cutting

Bimax has many years of experience in the industry, at the outset providing screen and pad printing services for difficult substrates (especially plastics) and then converting self-adhesive materials and films. Our state-of-the-art machinery and extensive technological facilities enable us to shape various types of material for technical and industrial applications.

The most popular materials in the converting industry are:

With many years of experience in shaping desired parts from materials, Bimax places an emphasis on accuracy, blanking quality and documentation. Our developed machinery and ability to produce parts in small quantities enables us to deliver initial samples in a very short time.

Thanks to our own production capacity, we can provide customised packaging. We deliver finished parts in two ways: die-cut, where the part is cut together with the liner (the material that protects the sticky part of the tape), or ‘kiss-cut’, where the raw material part is cut out, but the backing material itself remains intact. This process is named after the kiss-cutting device, where the blade penetrates the adhesive material but only ‘kisses’ the backing paper without actually cutting it.

We use materials suggested or entrusted by the customer. We can cut according to any pattern or drawing, or we can prepare technical drawings based on the information received from the customer. We also offer cutting with ‘fingerlift’, i.e. a part of the material that makes it easier to remove the liner from the pattern.

Die-cuts have a wide range of applications in many industries, including automotive, white goods, consumer electronics, engineering and construction.
